In this essay "Unchopping a Tree", the writer has presented an impossible example to present deep meaning. Joining chopped parts of trees writer presented refers to the new plantation of more trees. Every part of trees like: root, leaves, stem, branches, etc refers to every part of nature. Each and every part of nature is important to all living beings on the earth. As we are the most unique creation of nature which made us a leader among all beings, so it is our duty to maintain the balance in nature. We don't have any rights to destroy the nature because it is the property of all beings either they are animals or insects. Actually, we are not destroying the nature but we are destroying ourselves. We are kicking yourself with an axe in our leg. Our lives totally depend upon nature. Without nature, we can't live one second anymore. Through the writer's appeal is to join the parts of the chopped trees, he wants to remind human beings about their important works to conserve our beautiful nature.

Actually, Unchopping a tree is impossible to work to do. It is only a kind of feeling which can be presented only in story and poem because it certainly has very big meaning. The writer emphasizes human beings on the preservation of nature. Nature should be preserved and those persons who cut one tree must plant two in return. When they save and plant the trees, it is called as chopping a tree. The writer warns us that it is easy to destroy anything but it is very hard to create one. He compares that life of a tree and human life are the same so they should be preserved with equal emphasis. Not only the trees we should save but also we should preserve the different habitat of animals.

The writer tries to show us that how we can hard to bring the chopped tree into the original situation where it was earlier, which is not really possible scientifically. When a tree is chopped down once, there is no way to bring it into its original condition. But its place can be replaced with more another new trees, which we plant called afforestation. Trees are also the important parts of the ecosystem on the earth as other living creatures. We should always think of conservation of such trees. As it gives oxygen, shelter, clothes, and food which is the most essential parts for the survival of human beings and animals too.
